(1939 1945 issue). Constructed of silvered bronze with enamel, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, consisting of a Cross Patte with ribbed and blue enameled arms joined through the quadrants by radiant sun rays, the obverse bearing a central blue enameled medallion overlaid by a wreathed German national eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, the
