Turkey, Ottoman Empire. A Turkish War Medal, By Godet, C. 1935 consisting of a blue enamelled Romanian Cross with clusters of nine gilt rays in eac the Kuwaiti medal with enamels(Harp Madalyas). A rare and privately purchased example of the Turkish War Medal (a. k. a. Gallipoli Star), constructed of silver with enamels, consisting of a five pointed star completing in ball finials, the obverse with red enameled arms, overlaid by a raised and silvered crescent, surrounding a silvered Tughra of Sultan Mehmed V above an Islamic calendar date of 1333 (AD 1915), the reverse with ten visible rivets securing the obverse fixtures in
