Naming is officially impressed, the "S." of his forename double stamped. Original ribbon with the ends sewn together, very light contact, cleaned, better than very fine. Footnote: Sergeant S. Gladstone, 2nd Battalion, King's Own Scottish Borderers died on July 23, 1916 and is buried in Caterpillar Valley Cemetery, Longueval, France, Grave Reference: IX. G. 5.
