If the V157 flapper motor fails to move after the bracket is installed you can pull the motor arm forward into operating range with the engine running to "jump start" it

These pins will align the VTEC cylinder head and head gasket to your non Vtec B18 or B20 block

This will offer proper warm-up with coolant flowing from block to head while the thermostat is closed (same as OEM design)
