Vintage Japanese Ikebana Kenzan Sun & Moon Flower Frog Flower Arranging 2" Charger This lacquer was as blackSometimes called the spiky frog in English, the kenzan is an indispensable tool in ikebana. Kenzan in Japanese literally means sword mountain. These weighted pin beds are used to stand flowers at the correct height and angle when arranging flowers in a vase they are heavy and stay at the bottom of a water filled vase. This one splits into a sun and moon weighs 3 oz and is 2" by 1" ( 5 x 2. 5 cm).
