Mesa Balancing Racing Engines uses only Dart Merlin or Brodix or GM bowtie new blocks to build these high HP packages which on pump gas can make 600 + depending on the cylinder heads and components used and well over 1000 HP with blower turbo or NO2

Cylinders bored (when applicable) on 4 axis CNC perpendicular to mains giving you a true 90o  V8

These new blocks are put through the same machining process as all our engines (we do not use new blocks without machining them like most of our competitors ) all blocks are inspected for cracks and flaws then fully blueprinted and assembled to fit your needs

LT1/ LT4 427" Short Block 4.6 Short Block LT1 Oil System Type: DryMesa Balancing Racing Engines uses our proven custom pistons with the 4340 forged crankshaft & H beam 4340 rods, this package gives you the ability to max out the factory sleeve block with no worries. This combo works great with Superchargers, turbos with a higher boost to make 1300. By far the best bang for the buck without a sleeved block you will find.
