The grips are smooth with the Ortgies logo engraved

The grips are carved out of naturally dried English walnut

COLT WOODSMAN 2nd series W/O THUMB REST grips (checkered) screw 22LR pistols made before 2012These ambidextrous grips fit all Colt Woodsman later 2nd series models (Target, Match Target, Sport, Challenger). These do not fit the "early" 2nd series models (1947 1950) They are made from English or Black walnut of the natural color, checkered with Colt logo engraved on the right panel, oil finished. The escutcheon is installed. The original screw can be used or a replacement screw can be purchased on our web site.
