Art Deco Brass and Frosted Glass Plate Wall Sconce, France, 1930s vintage lighting in a mid-century living spaceArchitectural Art Deco wall sconce produced in France during the 1930s. Merging neoclassical Empire proportions with modernist geometry, the fixture features a heavy, trumpet flared brass torchre body displaying a deep, mottled golden patina. The lower waist is girdled by four multi layered semicircular fins of frosted glass with polished edges. These horizontal plates capture and diffuse downward light emission, creating a glowing radiator effect
