Description

This is something very special

It was exhibited at the Royal West of England Academy

I bought this from the great Grant Waters the author of the eponymous Art Dictionary and it has hung in my last two houses

Set up as part of FDR’s New Deal it employed hundreds of artists nationwide and Levenson was put to work painting murals of American history

The Grant painting was sold by Whitten’s family  at Auction in 2014
