Antique Japanese (C1860) Chado Hibashi Fire Chopstick Bronze Hex Topped 10 " Tea Ceremony 5" wide (39This is an antique Japanese early 1800's (c. 1860's) set ofcast iron hibashi (fire chopsticks). They were used to move burning hot coals from one place to another and also to tend the coals while they burned in a hibachi. Used traditionally in Chado tea ceremony.
