『PLATES』Iteration 2は身体をめぐる多角的な探求を試みます。人間の身体は、本来私たちの存在を本質的に証明しています。しかし、その身体が異なる文脈に置かれたとき、その概念は資本主義、メディアテクノロジー、政治、インターネットといった領域において、単なる表面、機械、システム、あるいは自動化された集合体の同義語へと崩壊する可能性があります。透明性や具体性、真正さを欠きながらも、その固有のアイデンティティと機能性を主張する身体。『PLATES』の第2号では、「身体」というテーマを多角的に掘り下げます。肉体としての身体、仮想の存在としての身体、政治体としての身体、アイデンティティ、身体力学、非身体性、表現する／パフォーマティブな身体、道具としての身体など、それぞれの実践と関連するあらゆる「身体」の問題に取り組む、多様な声を集めました。

Ishi to Momo (Stone and Peach) compiles a series of the same name that Kimura has developed in recent years, sparked by his unique perceptual experiences caused by 'Alice in Wonderland Syndrome', a condition he has lived with since childhood. Alice in Wonderland Syndrome is characterised by perceptual distortionssuch as objects
