This beauty is known for its mid spring to summer display of scarlet red flowers on tall bloom spikes. It also has attractive evergreen foliage and can naturalize in harsh growing conditions, such as hot sun, and windy conditions. Plant in a sunny spot for the best blooms, regularly removing spent flowers to prolong the colour. We like to pick them and put them in a vase too!
