Cirsium Trevors Blue Wonder brooms Normally produces lots of flowerheadsA rather impressive ornamental thistle with large green spiky leaves and rather wonderful thistle heads of mauve purple flowers in summer. More of a deep purple than a blue, but very attractive to pollinators. Requires a moist soil in a sunny open spot, where it will achieve a height of between 100 and 120 cm. Great in a naturalistic or wildlife garden. Combines well with grasses.
