Butterflies with Plumb Lines Black & White Fleming was by her own
Description
Fleming was by her own admission in semi-retirement by this stage
She had made her money
Both paintings portray Claire Stafford and therein lies a story
Of course that could be a previous owner or descendent as much as the name of the sitter
Unlike so many celebrity portraits this was certainly painted from life
Butterflies with Plumb Lines Black & White Fleming was by her own
