This star map was originally published in 1624 in Johann Bayer's "Uranometria," perhaps the most influential star atlas ever published and the forerunner of all modern star atlases. It contained 51 highly accurate star charts, 48 of which were the Ptolemaic constellations. And, of course, the 12 major
