- Shidare Zakura (Weeping Cherry), EX-LIBRIS, 2004 - Kiyomizu Temple Wonderful details and fantastic colorsThis amazing small print, Shidare Zakura (Weeping Cherry), by Katsunori Hamanishi (b. 1949), was printed in 2004. The print depicts a weeping cherry tree in full bloom under a full moon. It is an ex libris (bookplate), a label used to identify a books owner, and such prints are highly sought after by collectors. Though very small in size, it clearly showcases Hamanishis refined work with gold accents. The artists signature appears in the bottom
