Old Map of the USA, 1851 by Tallis & Rapkin - Large Texas, Western and Missouri Territory, Odd Borders bristol street and landmark nameThis rather unusual map of the United States was engraved by British engraver John Rapkin and published by J. Tallis & Co in 1851. The USA was going through a lot of flux back in the 1850s, with most state borders no where near their present day locations. This map looks great at all sizes: 12x16 inches (31x41cm), 18x24 inches (45. 5x61cm) and 24x36 inches (61x91. 5cm), but it looks even better when printed large. I can create beautiful, large prints
