"The intention behind my art is for the observer to be reminded to live life on their own terms

these pieces convey a sense of joy through their movement

Stó:lō and Səl̓ílwətaʔ/Selilwitulh (Tsleil-Waututh) and xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam) Nations who have cared for these lands since time immemorial

I have worked in ceramics in the distant past so 3D artwork is not entirely new to me

representing the idea of being grounded while in flight

Empty Spaces POC Artist "The intention behind my artSometimes it seems there are Empty Spaces, but I believe there is always something to see, something to feel, or something to hear or something to sense. Even in absolute silence, we experience and absorb our surroundings, which easily fill vast empty spaces. I often wonder how we communicate in our silence in what is unsaid, and sometimes never will be said. There's a power that comes with silence, but also a heart full of regrets from the feeling it
