This work depicts locomotives being switched at Kabe Station in Hiroshima Prefecture. These locomotives, which are no longer seen today, evoke a nostalgic Showa era atmosphere. Osamu Ueda was born in 1947 in Hiroshima Prefecture. He has an unusual background, having graduated from the Faculty of Dentistry at Hiroshima University. He and his father,
