Washing Line, Burano sold Mr Lines is still going

Description

Mr Lines is still going strong and painting away today although in a very different style

Unkind words such as ‘dirgy’ and ‘depressing’ are bandied about and there is general agreement that this is a ‘Matthew’ picture

this has the essence of a book cover – only really making sense in the context of the title and narrative within

there is often one work that an artist will be loathed to part with

I love the cheekiness of the nude
