Colourful Tabby - Watercolour Painting boxer She is a 10×8 inch

She is a 10×8 inch oil on a canvas panel

She's set on a red painted background to show her black coat off to its best advantage and I've floated her in a lovely shadow frame so she casts a shadow behind her

With those expressive eyes and that thoughtful little face

I couldn't resist painting her

Azra is so beautiful with those big blue eyes

Colourful Tabby - Watercolour Painting boxer She is a 10×8 inchcolourful tabby cat watercolour painting A tabby cat stares out of the window. He's probably watching the birds with that intense stare. I loved his profile and I wanted the painting to be colourful and lively, just like him. He is painted in warm golds, oranges and greens, with blues and purples adding his stripes. He has glorious gold whiskers.
