The left half was drawn by hand using Jeppe Ringsteds own natural ink made from the Amaranth plant. When the ink was first applied to the paper it was dark pink but has since settled into a dimmed golde color. The coordinates on this piece (written both on the backside of the artwork and on the certificate of authenticity) indicate precisely where
