The 'eye' sits somewhere above Jersey City, looking east across most of Manhattan and a big chunk of Brooklyn. Manhattan is beautifully encircled by the Hudson and East Rivers. The Statue of Liberty stands in the bottom right corner of the map, looking at New York City.
