(Printers Plate - Avignon) Avignon Silk-Flyers "Escape" Map An exhaustive and scholarly publicationAvignon It's rare to find old printers plates as typically the medium could be reused, or was destroyed in process. This old plate is loose and still in very good condition. And thanks to a friend that is a historical printer we were able to make a print off of this plate which shows a very old view of Avignon, France. By the style and costume of the people in the image, this birds eye view appears to be 18th century. Condition is very good. Image
