Carved Panel - 'Purity', Black Lacquer spo-notify-me-enabled With the circular brass handles

With the circular brass handles adding a nice oriental touch

now worn from the once deep black lacquer

the cabinet provides an elegant way to store important documents

showing a large fish in the centre

The studded motif around the top and bottom is reminiscent of the metalware on old Chinese drums

Carved Panel - 'Purity', Black Lacquer spo-notify-me-enabled With the circular brass handlesThe central carving of our black lacquer panel is made from camphor, a wood which is easy to carve, the design represents one of the 'Four Nobles', in this case it depicts orchids a symbol of purity. Scrolling dragons surround the main carving, with the outer frame being made of fir wood. The panels can be bought individually or as a set of four.
