with hints of blueberry and guava rounding things out

and Novello: which represents the southwestern part of the Barolo production area

which underwent a two week maceration and refermentation before further aging in a second-use Oloroso sherry butt

(with the planks bent on fire but not toasted) and not new oak (since the new barrels are good for the Barbera)
