Hand Pressed Glass Cup Plate "St. Andrews Church - St Matthew - 1981" Cup Plate Measures Roughly 16"H x 6"WThis Historical Reproduction Cup Plate was commissioned in 1982 by St. Andrews Episcopal Church in New Bedford MA. This plate has a very faint amethyst hue, much paler than usual, but still distinctly amethyst in color. It is #156 in the Pairpoint catalog. Measuring 3. 5" in diameter, this cup plate was made by hand using a glass press and hand carved pressing mold, following the same process used for cup plate production in the 19th century. 1825
