CONSTABLE Puppet Head ~ Early 1900s Punch and Judy post-war It measures 11in (28cm) tallHere's a charming antique head of a Constable. It comes from a hand puppet used in an old Punch & Judy toy theater. This puppet head is finely carved and beautifully hand painted. It is from European origin, likely made in the early 1900s. The structure is solid and displays well but it shows wear, gained during many years of play. However the imperfections give it an added layer of personality that only early toys have.
