Yellow Afghan Jade Onyx hand-carved Apple 70*90mm 570g Cabachon found in Lake SuperiorToo good to eat This Yellow Afghan Jade Onyx hand carved Apple 70*90mm weighs 570g. It has been sculpted from the translucent Serpentine stone found in Pakistan. This stone is often referred to as Onyx, even though it is not agate. Our partner in Karachi used glued and dyed slices of this stone to carefully style this beautiful stone apple. Serpentine means snake stone. It is the name given to a group of magnesium based asbestos and silicate minerals
