The North Star represents direction, guidance, stability and purpose due to its fixed position relative to the other stars. Starbursts are held together through self gravitation, a metaphor for the power of collective will and direction. Lastly, the Filipino sun and crescent moon are a nod to my culture and Malay unity (see Maphilindo). We are not
