The producer is Eduardo Miroglio who made his money in textiles in Italy before buying vineyards in the Thracian wine region, in southern Bulgaria near the border with Greece and Turkey which now produces some of the countrys best wines. This Pinot has the heady Pinot scent, but also some smoky notes and hints of wet leaves in a forest (what the wine trade loves to call
