イタリア人デザイナー、アンドレア・サレルノと、トルコ人デザイナー、イエリズ・シェケルリによる作品集「ARRANGING FLOWER ARRANGING」入荷しました。1966年に刊行された家庭用生け花の資料集『FLOWER ARRANGING』を二人のデザイナーが再アレンジ。フラワーアレンジングを再アレンジングするという洒落のきいたコンセプトながら、50年以上前の写真とそれらを用いたレイアウト、時折コラージュのようなページを織り交ぜながら、その編集によってひとつの作品と呼べるすばらしい一冊になっています。

「Clarity（透明さ、明瞭さ）」。永瀬沙世の展覧会にこのタイトルがつけられるのは2回目である。しかしながら、彼女は、単に「透明」で「明瞭」な写真を追求しているわけではない。むしろ「わかりやすさ」から遠く離れて、茫漠とした世界やそれを見つめる視覚の不完全性から、作品制作を出発させている。彼女にとって「世界」は、自分自身が撮った何万枚もの写真群を幾度となく見直し、主観やエゴを排除しきった後に、無意識とともにはじめて「見える」ようになるものなのである。
