The neck position has a more distinct and crisp sound, while the bridge pickup has a fatter and more powerful sound. This pickup is a perfect match for steel saddles. Just like vintage pickups, the base plate itself has threaded holes, so the wiring is electrically connected to the bridge plate, saddle, strings, and the beginning of the lead wire winding via the mounting screws.
