La Cantina di Cuneaz Nadir 'Badebec' Rosso Vallée d’Aoste 2016 Petit Manseng Where many Pinot Noirs tryFrom north facing slopes above Aosta (in Italy's smallest province), this is 90% Petit Rouge with Vien de Nus and Fumin, from vines between 40 and 100 years old, aged two years in oak. Only 1,500 bottles made. Dark and structured, with blackberry, alpine herb, cedar and a cool mineral backbone. It has old vine austerity and is built to last. It has now been in bottle the right amount of time so take advantage of it.
