Antique Meiji Era Japanese Bronze Kiseru w/ Case & Pouch Ranma 作 (saku): “Made by”This is an antique Japanese kiseru ()from the mid Meiji Era (c. 1870). It has a silver alloy bronze mouth piece and bronze bowl with bamboo center. It is quite elegant and compact and still has a nice draw. It is signed by the Japanese Meiji era maker. Along with a warm centuries old patina, this kiseru has a good draw and is still very functional. This 150 plus year old antique kiseru measures 6 1 2" (16. 5 cm) long.
