Sakiori Sashiko Noragi Farmer Jacket firemanjacket It was found from theAge: Meiji Era (the late 1800s early 1900s) Region Found: Nigata, Nagaoka Material: Cotton Sakiori style weaving, recycle remnants, natural indigo dyed Interesting fact: This is an antique Japanese Sakiori's style Zanshi (remnants) Sashiko stitch Noragi Farmer Jacket. The fabric is indigo dyed, done by homespun & hand loomed roughly in the Meiji Era the late 1800s early 1900s. Sakiori is the Japanese method of rag weaving by using recycled material.
