歌川広重の作である「東海道五十三次」の数点の絵柄、構図を模して集め、全体に表現したデザインとなっています。
小さな実が付くようすから「結実」を想像させる意匠でもあります。
松葉文様は江戸幕府五代将軍・徳川綱吉の定め小紋（裃に使用する柄）だったとされています。
細やかな草花文様が段ごとに描かれた小紋をアロハシャツに。
