Vintage Chain Of Strength "What Holds Us Apart" T-Shirt Punk & Hardcore aka Chi PigChain Of Strength was a hardcore band from the Inland Empire in California. They formed in 1988 and released two 7"s before breaking up, 1988's True Till Death released on Revelation Records and 1990's What Holds Us Apart on Foundation Records. Chain played a style of hardcore that was influenced by early Dischord bands but they did so with a Southern California aesthetic: bleached hair and beach bods and Bold shirts.
