Constructed of silvered magnetic iron, on loop for suspension from its period original fob style rayon strap with a functional magnetic metal spring clip, the obverse bearing a central raised profile of Duke Georg, circumscribed by name and title in Latin, the reverse bearing a central raised German national eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, circumscribed by inscriptions indicating that the medal was
