Mantius, Eduard - Autograph Letter Signed 1846 Autographs Singers U-Z Anny KonentznyFamous German tenor (1806 1874) who later became a very important pedagogue, Mantius befriended Mendelssohn and performed in world premieres by him, Flotow, Meyerbeer and in Otto Nicolais most famous opera The Merry Wives of Windsor. Autograph letter signed by him, in German, dated in Berlin in 1846. Sold untranslated. One page, 8 x 11 inches, has folds, a repaired crack over the center of the left border, ink is overall on the faded side but still
