Constructed of aluminum, the obverse consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, overlaid by a central Luftwaffe eagle clutching a mobile swastika, affixed with all four reverse attachment prongs to a lanyard constructed of slate grey rayon with silver aluminum wire chevrons, culminating at each end in a loop for uniform attachment, unmarked, the insignia measuring 40 mm (w) x 50
