A Narvik Campaign Shield constructed of stamped zink, the shield features a national eagle with swooped down wings, clutching a wreathed swastika, inscribed NARVIK in capital letters, with an Edelweiss flower (representing the Heer) in the center between the date 1940 and a crossed anchor (representing the Kriegsmarine) and propeller (representing the Luftwaffe) on the obverse, with its wool backer perfectly preserved, all four
