In white metal, voided, maker marked "ELLIS BROS TORONTO" on the reverse, measuring 54 mm (w) x 59 mm (h), both lugs intact, period cherry red fabric swatch on the reverse highlighting the voided areas, very light contact, near extremely fine. Footnote: The Battalion was raised and mobilized in Toronto, Ontario under the authority of G. O. 103A, August 15, 1915. The Battalion sailed May 22, 1915 under the command of
