Constructed of silvered bronze, the obverse consisting of a Braunschweiger style Totenkopf, the reverse retaining both attachment prongs, unmarked, measuring 28 mm (w) x 32 mm (h), demonstrating loss of finish throughout the base metal, a classic example of a traditions badge worn on the visor caps of personnel of Infanterie Regiment 17 and Kavallerie Regiment 13, in better than very fine
