「米一直是香港人的主要食糧，六、七十年代，每家每戶都會到米舖糴米。「成興泰糧食」1965年在石硤尾徙置區開業，除售賣糧油雜貨外，更會按照客人喜好提供溝米服務。時至今日，老闆德叔依舊踏著單車親自上門送貨。隨著超市的興起，真空包裝白米大行其道，加上香港人的飲食習慣與消費模式大大改變，傳統米行逐漸式微。縱使「米舖多過銀行」的年代早已沒落，但傳統米舖濃濃的人情味，卻永不褪色。」
