I didn't know where that exercise would lead me or that it would completely change my life forever. I poured everything I had into those drawings without a contract, a guarantee, or a company that wanted to produce what I came up with. That first collection was something of a prayer, a meditation, a hope for a future I didn't have the experience to conceive of yet. That collection was
