An Order Of The War Victory Cross, III Class Badge, c.1942 consisting of a blue enamelled Romanian Cross with clusters of nine gilt rays in eac consisting of an opened book(Vojenn vitazn kri). Instituted in 1942. Type II (1941 1944). Civil Division. In silver and blue enamels the Slovak (patriarchal) cross decorated with emanating rays between the each of the six blue enamelled arms, with clusters of linden leaves at the 3 and 9 o'clock positions, vertical pinback, measuring 35. 6 mm (w) x 51. 3 mm (h), intact enamels, light loss of finish around the cross, near extremely fine.
