Tamagno, Francesco - Signed Photo 1887 Autographs Singers A-D He eventually conducted the NYStar Italian tenor (1850 1905), chosen by Verdi for the title role in the world premiere of Otello in 1887. He also was one of the first Italian tenors to have left recordings. Beautiful cabinet style photo signed by him, inscribed and dated in Milan on March 5th, 1887 exactly 30 days after the famous world premiere of Verdis "Otello" at La Scala. A photo by Ganzini & Gabriel, Milan, size is 5. 4 x 7. 8 inches, in excellent condition.
