Germany, Wehrmacht. A Close Combat Clasp, Bronze Grade, By Rudolf Souval Auction Archive fifteen are silvered(Nahkampfspange in Bronze). Constructed of bronzed zink alloy, the obverse with a central Wehrmacht eagle clutching a mobile swastika above a bayonet and stick grenade, within a square border of oak leaves, with sun rays emanating from the centre of the left and right sides, and with four oak leaves and two acorns on each side, the reverse with a barrel hinge and horizontal banjo style pinback meeting a flat wire catch, maker marked R. S. for Rudolf
