Sweden, Kingdom. An Order Of Vasa, Knight, BY C.F.Carlman Auction Archive De Jouy wed Isabella Walker(Kungliga Vasaorden). Instituted in 1772. In silver gilt, a white enameled Maltese cross, each arm finished with two ball finials, a Gold crown of Sweden in each quadrant, obverse roundel bearing a vase and a sheaf encircled by a red enameled band featuring the inscription GUSTAF DEN III INST. MDCCLXXII, with mirrored reverse roundel, measuring 63 mm (h) x 40 mm (w) inclusive of crown suspension, on original green ribbon, in extremely fine condition.
